Exploring perspective per, inter-group & inter-personal dynamics

About me

Humans, individually and in their various ethnic, geographical, cultural, religious, corporate or other groupings, survive and thrive in healthy relationship. While generally acknowledged, most modern and post-modern approaches to human development and flourishing are at the wrong unit of analysis and an inaccurate assessment of the nature of the system.

A Christian. Wedded forever to my wife and two girls. I’m not Simon Fowler from Ocean Colour Scene, although I like to sing and I’m learning the guitar. I’m also not Simon Fowler the photographer, although I do take photographs. I am, however, famous to everyone who knows me.

  1. Hello Simon
I have found your blog through internet search. This is a virtual handshake to introduce myself, my wife Judi, and friends from Leavesden Road Baptist Church, Watford – Revd Kevin Price, Allan Humphris and Annette James. We are currently in El Salvador, visiting Iglesia Emmanuel Bautista (IBE) that ran the children’s home. You may not be aware that, following your stay and work at the children’s home, IBE sent a Salvadoran painted cross to us at Leavesden Road, in recognition of your work with them. The cross came through various hands (six degrees of separation!) before reaching our then Minister, Revd Paul Martin. That was the start of a link that has continued, with our current visit the latest manifestation, hopefully generating even stronger connection. So, ‘benediciones’ for being the seed for nearly 25 years of this link, which we hope to see grow even stronger.
    God bless you.

  2. Hey Simon,

I found your blog as a result of seeing you on #lrnchat yesterday, 25.03. Your responses during the chat had that “hey, this guy’s pretty interesting” character and I followed you here.

Needless to say, I’m not disappointed by your blog. Quite the contrary: I’m looking forward to following your ideas.

    Nice to meet you.

    Yours,

    Leo

    1. Hey, thanks Leo. That’s very kind of you. I hope I can continue to interest you! I’m new to blogging but I’m not short of opinions so we’ll see how it goes!

#lrnchat is a great event, isn’t it! It’s such a new and serendipitous way to connect with people!

      take care,
      Simon
